Rock and Rye Tavern – Not Main St. or Mainstream

Three years ago Rock and Rye breathed life into a 1750s tavern belonging to one of the founding families of New Paltz, the Eltings.  It’s proven to be the perfect backdrop for our farm to table Tavern, craft cocktails, microbrews and small-production wines.  We work with local farms to bring you the best the Hudson Valley has to offer.  Enjoy a quiet Summer meal on our screened in patio or warm yourself by the wood-burning stove in winter.

Just to give you an idea, we’ve got 32 Gins, 24 Bourbons, 16 Ryes, 11 Mezcals, 10 Amaros, seven craft beers on draft, and occasional casks.  We do our best to bring you the very best all-around progressive bar program in the Valley.  You’re guaranteed to find something you’ve never tried.

We’re a short drive from Main Street New Paltz, but well worth the adventure.
